Last summer in the architectural reserve Bozhentsi, Bulgaria, I conducted with the dutch type designer Martin Majoor a two-weeks workshop for Typofest.

It was a fantastic experience with an enthusiastic group integrated by designers from Bulgaria, Macedonia, Rumania and Turkey. The students designed their own typeface, starting from scratch with a double pencil on an empty sheet of paper, and finishing it on their laptops as a digital font file.
